About Clay Path Studio

Kansas City · established 2015

Our story

Clay Path Studio opened in Kansas City in 2015 when our founder got tired of pottery classes that rushed through the basics. We built a studio where beginners can fail safely and experienced makers have room to experiment.

The wheels run six days a week. Glazes are mixed in-house, firings are scheduled transparently, and instructors actually throw alongside students instead of lecturing from the corner.

Whether you are making your first mug or refining a signature form, you will work with people who remember what it feels like to wobble a wall.
